Commercial Heat Pump Solutions

About us

Our Mission

Corvée Commercial delivers MCS-certified commercial heat pump installations across Northamptonshire. Our renewable engineers combine deep heating system knowledge with renewable specification, allowing us to design heat pump solutions that actually perform in commercial applications – not just domestic retrofits scaled up. We support ESG reporting, BUS applications and multi-year decarbonisation plans for schools, healthcare, offices and industrial clients.

Why Choose Us

MCS-Certified Design

Accredited for commercial heat pump installations up to 45kW per MCS scheme. Larger systems delivered under CIBSE-compliant bespoke design.

Measurable Performance

Systems designed to SCOP targets of 3.5-4.5, modelled pre-install and measured post-install for ESG reporting.

Real Commercial Experience

Heat pump installations for schools, offices, care homes and industrial units. Not a domestic-installer scaled up - purpose-built commercial expertise.

Grant-Ready

Full MCS certification required for Boiler Upgrade Scheme applications. We manage the full grant process end-to-end.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Heat Pumps

We serve all of Northamptonshire including Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, Rushden, Oundle and Market Harborough.

Do commercial heat pumps perform in UK winters?

Yes. Modern commercial ASHPs maintain output down to -20°C, with SCOPs typically above 3.0 in UK conditions. Proper heat loss calculations and emitter sizing are essential – this is where most commercial heat pump installations fail.

Most commercial buildings can accommodate a heat pump given proper design. Key factors: existing emitter flow temperatures, building fabric, external plant space and electrical capacity. A feasibility study will confirm suitability and estimate performance.

Commercial ASHP installations may require planning permission depending on noise emissions (MCS 020 compliance), external siting and listed-building status. We handle planning application support as part of our feasibility service.

BUS offers up to £7,500 towards eligible commercial heat pump installations. Eligibility depends on property type (non-domestic SME premises), system type (air or ground source heat pump) and MCS-certified installation. We manage the entire application process on your behalf.

Commercial heat pumps reduce Scope 1 emissions by replacing gas combustion with electrically-driven heat (often renewable-backed). We provide pre- and post-installation energy modelling data to support your ESG disclosures (SECR, Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting).
